Quanta, Compal, Wistron, and Inventec are all optimistic about the high growth performance of double-digit shipments. Pegatron is even more optimistic that notebook shipments this quarter will increase by 50 to 60%. The range is superior to peers. ASUS Co-CEO Hu Shubin revealed that the current channel inventory level is low, and this positive message is expected to continue PC demand into the first half of the third quarter. Quanta’s deputy director and general manager Liang Cizhen said that strong demand from home work, remote teaching and medical care, and online services this quarter has promoted the continuous growth of Quanta’s notebook and server shipments.
